Local Food Truck Hapa Bros has submitted plans to renovate an existing building and establish its first permanent location at 713 San Benito Street in Hollister.

The plans include a full renovation of the exterior, including new lighting, signage, paint, a sectional door upfront, and an outdoor patio dining area fronting Swope Alley. The plans will retain the existing Hollister Mural but demolish the storage building in the rear of the building in order to make way for the dining patio.

As for the food, Hapa Bros describes itself as:

Hapa Bros. is a food trailer specializing in Asian Fusion Cuisine. Proud to call ourselves a scratch kitchen, our menu features familiar American-style dishes with bold Asian flavors.

Hapa Bros is a regular at the Hollister Farmers Market, Vertigo Coffee in San Juan Bautista, and Food Truck Tuesdays in Hollister.

The Hollister Planning Commission voted to approve the project 4-0 on Thursday April 23rd.
